Navjeevan Dhara (which is the Hindi word for "Rivers of New Life") began its ministry officially in 1990 with a focus to reach the people of North India with the Word of Christ.  Fifteen like minded Christians joined together, under the leadership of Pastor Paul Varghese, to use Music and the Word of God to communicate the love of Christ to the people in Central India

Navjeevan Dhara has created a niche ministry in Central India, by taking the Unchanging Gospel to the most unreached areas of India, where no gospel has ever gone before. Pastor Paul has been preaching the gospel to the unreached areas in Central India for the past 25 years and in Maharashtra (has only 1% Christians) from the year 2000.

Along with taking the gospel to the villages of India, the Navajeevan Dhara have maintained a unity within the Body of Christ in Aurangabad.  This has ben a critical aspect of Navajeevan Dhara's long term ministry.  Under the leadership of Pastor Paul, Navajeevan Dhara has collaborated numerous evangelical meetings with many Christian Churches in the city of Aurangabad and in other towns of Maharashtra. They have also partnered with Global 360 Mission, USA to offer FREE Medical Camps in the villages of Maharashtra.  Navajeevan Dhara also partners on an yearly basis with the Samaritan's Purse (Ministry by Franklin Graham) to distribute gifts during Christmas time to the needy children in Maharashtra.

The Navajeevan Dhara team has also stepped in multiple times to offer humanitarian help in various crises, and as needed.  When the Christians in Orissa were being persecuted or when the Tsunami hit the Indian coast, the Navajeevan Dhara team was there extending a helping hand and showing the love of Christ to the people of India
.

Rivers of New Life's partnership with Navajeevan Dhara has the following Long Term Goals:

  1. Start a City Rescue Mission where poor widows, street children, and homeless people can live
  2. Expand the Bible School into a full fledged Bible College
  3. Establish at least 2 Bible believing churches in every village of Maharashtra and Gujarat
  4. Assist in the creation of 20 new CDs by 2020, in at least 10 languages/local dialects
  5. The Word of God be heard by every individual in the Indian states of Maharastra and Gujarat
